When I saw that Dolce & Gabbana had used wood inlay accessories in their Fall-Winter 2013 collection, here, I swooned! I have worn my box-turned-clutch as a bag too, many times! When I fell in love with this antique card box, and told the lady that I planned to use it a clutch, she thought I was a bit mad…same thing happened when I bought a sterling sliver cigar box for the same purpose, but that’s what’s fun about fashion! You can re-purpose pieces and wear them differently, if it works for you!

Come summer, Western style always makes an appearance, and although it is not necessarily something I wear much, I liked pairing this full skirt in a prairie-like color with full-on denim in both the blazer and the bag. I feel that the structured pieces made these otherwise casual fabrics more elegant. What do you think?
