When I saw that Dolce & Gabbana had used wood inlay accessories in their Fall-Winter 2013 collection, here, I swooned! I have worn my box-turned-clutch as a bag too, many times! When I fell in love with this antique card box, and told the lady that I planned to use it a clutch, she thought I was a bit mad…same thing happened when I bought a sterling sliver cigar box for the same purpose, but that’s what’s fun about fashion! You can re-purpose pieces and wear them differently, if it works for you!

Spring Sorbet

Sorbet and pastel colors seem to be everywhere these days. They are perfect for spring and summer, and remind us of sunnier, happier days. That’s why I have to laugh when I see these pictures because all those leaves on the ground make it look like…fall? Don’t be fooled, though, I live by the beach and it’s always windy, but the day was perfectly spring-y!
